Rebates are a great way to try something for FREE! The only thing is that the manufacturer is hoping that you will purchase the item and forget about doing the rebate associated with it.

So you go out and purchase the item for the rebate and RIGHT after you get everything put away, you need to fill out the form. Many forms will want you to send along the receipt and the UPC of the product. Get an envelope and get those items in there ASAP. Fill out the form...add a stamp...send in the mail. In about 6-8 weeks you will get a rebate check in the mail for the item that you bought. Not bad for the cost of a stamp!
