It is in today's Cub Foods ad.  You get a 5.2 Cubic feet Freezer for $159, BUT you also get coupons valued around $159 in for free items.  The coupon value will be based on the retail price of the item, not the sale price.  Meaning that you might only be getting about $100 in free food items when they are on sale.

Cub Foods and Register Rewards

I went shopping last week at Cub Foods and ended up chatting with a couple of store managers about the loss of catalina deals and the use of Walgreens Register Rewards.  The manager was taking notes down as I talked about how sister stores, Shaws and Jewel,  to Cub had several catalina deals going on while they never get advertised for us.  He said that he would check into it for me.  YEAH!

The other news is that I showed him a Walgreens Register Reward and he said that YES they do take them as long as they say that are a manufacturer's coupon.  So don't throw the expired ones away.  Ask at your store, but they should of all gotten an email about a month ago saying that they accept these.  I have used them at 4 different stores with no problems.

Cub Foods has Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks on sale for .99 for the week of 2/28 to 3/6!  They also have a catalina going on that will net some pretty cheap fruit snacks for your kids or even the food shelves.

Cub has a $5 off of a $50 purchase on their web page. It is kinda tricky to get to, so I will explain it the best that I can to you.

1. Go to the Cub Website HERE (right click link and open in a new tab)
2. Type in 55330 for the zip code (Elk River)
3. Click on Search
4. Click on weekly ads to the lower right side
5. Towards the bottom, you will see "Popular Weekly Ad items" 
6. Click on the FIRST $5 off of $50 coupon link you see
7. Then click on "add to list" in the coupon description
8. To the right you will see your shoping list with your coupon in it.
9. Go to the bottom of the shopping list and click on "print your list"
10. It will print out your coupon along with another piece of paper (just flip that paper over and print coupons on it from my site :) )

Next week you can repeat the procedure and get another $5 off of $50 then too! Thanks Gaveruz!

General Mills catalina deal at Cub Foods

Buy $20 worth of General Mills items that are listed in the list below and get $7 Cub Foods catalina back on your next purchase.  This was NOT advertised in the ad, but it DOES work as I have done 9 transactions already (see facebook page).   For the complete list of items that should be working for this deal, please go HERE.  A friend of mine did do the deal and it did not work for her...we are still trying to figure out what she bought that did not work (right now we are thinking the crescent rolls even though they are on the list.)

IF you do not get your catalina, you can't go to customer service and tell them that you should of gotten it since it is not advertised.  So be okay if it doesn't print and post what you got.  That way we can figure out what went wrong.

When I went, I just grabbed ALL of my GM inserts and headed to the store.   So look for your inserts...8/9 GM (have to shop at Eden Prairie w/ these), 9/13, 10/4, 11/15, 12/13, 1/3, and 2/7 all GM inserts.  Remember that Cub Foods takes expired coupons 3 months past their date.
